Research standards

Primary sources first.

Decoded Press prioritises official regulators, medicine labels, trial registries, peer-reviewed human studies and systematic reviews. Secondary commentary and user reports may provide context, but they are not treated as substitutes for primary evidence.

Preferred source hierarchy

  • Regulator databases and official medicine labels for approval and authorised use.
  • Clinical trial registries and peer-reviewed human trials for efficacy and safety findings.
  • Systematic reviews and meta-analyses for broader evidence synthesis.
  • Preclinical studies when human evidence is unavailable, clearly labelled as such.
  • User reports only as anecdotal signals, never as clinical proof.

Dates and changing evidence

Scientific evidence, medicine labels and regulatory decisions can change after publication. Readers should verify time-sensitive information against the latest official source.

Links and citations

A citation supports the statement it is attached to; it does not necessarily support every claim on the same page. Official-label links identify the source document for a marketed product and are not promotional endorsements.

Independence

Decoded Press does not accept a product claim merely because it appears in marketing, a forum, a supplier catalogue or an AI-generated summary. Evidence is classified by source type and strength.
